Checking Download Directory

In your web folder that you installed SpeedCheck, locate the "download" folder. The package comes with 5 sample files.

NOTE: If you have downloaded the separated packages, you have to copy large files, i.e. 1 MB, 3 MB and 15 MB (001MB_photo.jpg, 003MB_photo.tif, 015MB_photo.tif) to your /download folder manually.

When you launch SpeedCheck Java Applet http://speedcheck.yourserver.com/SpeedCheck.php

You should see this:

       sc_php_applet_files

If you see 0.0 MB in the Java Applet drop down or in the manual download column, probably your path to the downloadable files is wrong or file cannot be found. Check the /download folder and the filenames in SpeedCheck.php.

Download Testing

At the bottom of the page, try to save the files. If you are able to save the target to your local hard drive, the files are working and you should be able to perform the download test.
